Kojo Bonsu, a prospective candidate for the leadership of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), is concerned about issues with the party’s voter registration.

This follows a writ that one of the flag bearer contenders, Dr. Kwabena Duffour, filed at the Accra High Court alleging that there were anomalies found in the voter registration prior to the May 13 primary elections.

Dr. Duffuor claimed in a petition submitted to an Accra High Court that the party had violated party regulations by failing to deliver the necessary picture album register five weeks prior to the elections.

The billionaire asked the party to postpone its next presidential and parliamentary primaries until the appropriate thing was done after raising questions about the validity of the photo album register.

Mr. Kojo Bonsu commented on the situation and suggested that the party leadership take action to resolve the issues with the register.

The candidate for flag bearer said, “They need to move up the election date and fix it.”

However, the party rejected his plea, and some officials charged his team with acting dishonestly.
